TUXEDO OS is a Ubuntu-family Linux distribution based on Ubuntu LTS. Carefully tuned KDE Plasma workstation with optimized hardware drivers and kernel upgrades.
Strengths: Great hardware control center for fans/battery; Up-to-date kernel without waiting for Ubuntu points; Runs on any PC, not just Tuxedo laptops. Trade-offs: Smaller community than mainstream Ubuntu.
