Trisquel GNU/Linux is a Ubuntu-family Linux distribution based on Ubuntu LTS. 100% Free Software endorsed by the Free Software Foundation without proprietary blobs.
Strengths: Complete ideological software freedom; No closed-source binary blobs anywhere in the kernel; Based on familiar Ubuntu LTS foundation. Trade-offs: Will NOT work on modern Wi-Fi or NVIDIA GPUs without free drivers; Strictly no proprietary codecs out-of-the-box.
