Nobara Linux is a Fedora/RHEL-family Linux distribution based on Fedora. The gaming and streaming-tuned Fedora spin created by GloriousEggroll (Proton-GE maintainer).
Strengths: Ready for competitive gaming and streaming right after installation; NVIDIA drivers, Steam, Lutris, and codecs work automatically; Patched kernel with fsync and Steam Deck controller fixes. Trade-offs: Maintained by a single lead engineer (GloriousEggroll) and small team; Frequent kernel and package syncs require using Nobara update tool.
