Manjaro Linux is a Arch-family Linux distribution based on Arch Linux. User-friendly, accessible Arch-based desktop with staged package updates and Pamac software store.
Strengths: MHWD tool makes graphics driver setup automatic; Pamac provides GUI for Flatpak, Snap, and AUR in one window; Delay of 1-2 weeks on Arch updates to catch upstream regressions. Trade-offs: AUR packages can occasionally desync with staged Manjaro packages; Past corporate and certificate management controversies.
